Our Programs
Hamare karyakram
Helping every child learn, grow, and thrive at their own pace.
At Urjabodh, our programmes are designed to extend learning beyond the classroom and therapy room. We focus on education, employability, independent living, family empowerment, and meaningful community participation, creating opportunities for individuals to develop skills that support greater confidence, autonomy, and participation in everyday life.
Open Basic Education
Our Open Basic Education programme provides flexible learning opportunities for individuals who may benefit from an alternative or more adaptable educational pathway.
The programme supports foundational academic, functional, and life skills, with learning adapted to individual abilities, pace, and educational goals. It aims to make education more accessible while encouraging independence, confidence, and continued learning.
Through a flexible approach, students can work towards developing skills that are relevant to their daily lives, future education, vocational aspirations, and participation in the community.
Wings to Work
Wings to Work is Urjabodh’s employability-readiness programme designed to support young individuals in developing the skills required to transition towards greater independence and the world of work.
The programme focuses on areas such as workplace readiness, communication, interpersonal skills, professional behaviour, self-presentation, time management, problem-solving, workplace etiquette, functional skills, and career awareness.
Through practical activities, role plays, guided experiences, and real-world exposure, students are encouraged to understand their strengths, explore suitable career pathways, and build confidence in workplace settings.
Rozgaar Mela – In Collaboration with AISECT
As part of our employability initiatives, Urjabodh also connects students with opportunities such as Rozgaar Mela through our association with AISECT. These platforms provide exposure to employers, vocational opportunities, career pathways, and workplace environments.
This helps bridge the gap between skill development and employment, giving students opportunities to explore work options and understand the expectations of the professional world.
Geriatric Home Visits
Our Geriatric Home Visit Programme is designed to support older adults within the familiarity and comfort of their homes.
The programme focuses on promoting functional independence, engagement, safety, mobility, cognitive stimulation, emotional well-being, and quality of life. Home-based support allows interventions and activities to be adapted to the individual’s routines, abilities, preferences, and living environment.
The programme also provides families and caregivers with guidance on creating supportive routines and environments that encourage dignity, participation, independence, and meaningful engagement in daily life.
Parent Training Program
At Urjabodh, we believe that parents and caregivers are an integral part of the support system. Our Parent Training Program provides families with practical knowledge, strategies, and opportunities to learn from professionals across different areas of development and well-being.
Sessions may cover topics related to behaviour, communication, nutrition, sensory needs, emotional well-being, education, self-care, parenting, and everyday support strategies.
Through interactive workshops, expert sessions, demonstrations, and discussions, parents are encouraged to develop practical tools that can be incorporated into their daily routines. The programme also creates a space for shared learning, questions, community building, and caregiver empowerment.
Our Community & Industry Partnerships
Urjabodh believes that meaningful development also requires access to opportunities beyond the centre. Our collaborations with organisations such as Young Indians (Yi) and AISECT help create pathways for students to engage with the wider community, explore vocational opportunities, and develop skills for greater independence.
Young Indians (Yi)
Our association with Young Indians (Yi) provides opportunities for students to participate in community engagement, awareness initiatives, events, and experiential learning.
Such exposure helps students develop social confidence, communication, teamwork, participation, and an understanding of the wider community, while creating opportunities to interact with people and environments beyond the centre.
AISECT
Our association with AISECT supports our focus on education, vocational development, and employability. Through initiatives such as Rozgaar Mela, students can gain exposure to career options, employers, skill-development pathways, and the expectations of the workplace.
This partnership complements our Wings to Work programme by helping students move from skill-building towards exploring real-world vocational and employment opportunities.
Creating Pathways Beyond the Centre
At Urjabodh, our programmes and partnerships are built around one larger goal: creating meaningful pathways towards learning, independence, employment, participation, and quality of life.
By bringing together education, vocational preparation, family empowerment, community exposure, and home-based support, we strive to ensure that every individual has opportunities to learn, participate, contribute, and grow in ways that are meaningful to them.
